Hi,
Wish Uber Student alongside Windows 8.1
But get this error check Annex.
Is this a bug?

Format the drive as ext4, not FAT.

Have yourself partition not changed.
Here the Windows disc format
Someone tells me that one bug, you'd agree to answer whether the bug is yes or no.?

Ok sorry for my bad Englisch, from now on i ask a friend of mine to translate.
the partitions are not FAT but NTFS, see picture trough disk management

Try installing again. If it fails, hit Alt+F2 on the keyboard and run
Code:
leafpad /var/log/syslog
and copy and paste the contents of it here.

Like I said initially, you are trying to install Linux into a NTFS (Windows format) drive partition. Follow these steps and everything should work fine.

We have followed your advice but when we come to the installer the drive is not visible from post28
