I've suddenly been having trouble with pages not displaying properly. For example craigslist, and my bank's page also. Other websites keep telling me that the content is unsafe. I'm not sure what to do. I'm using chromium. Thanks for any help you can offer.

A browser identifies itself to a webserver via a User Agent string. Some webservers will serve different content based on that User Agent string. I once encountered a bank website which when viewed with [unmodified] Chromium would only list an error claiming that it only worked in the Internet Explorer browser, yet all I did was change Chromium's User Agent string to that of Internet Explorer and I was able to view the website without issue in Chromium.

For the problematic pages, can you provide testable examples? (I might suggest not publicly listing your bank in a forum.)

Hi Damion,

Unfortunately the fix you recommend doesn't work and the suggested developer tool route is not current for the latest chromium browser. I have a rendering problem to the following web page https://www.amazon.co.uk/

This appears to be fixed in tonight's release of Chromium into the upstream Ubuntu repository.
