I recently installed the software on my Dell Optiplex 755. The issue I'm having is that the software will not completely shut down the CPU. The problem is intermittent. Can you help? g

How do you even know it does not shut down the CPU?

Stephen, thank you for the response. The CPU does not completely power off because I can still see the mouse on the screen and the machine stays that way until I manually power it down by holding the in the power switch for about 5 seconds. Appreciate your help, g

I once had a Dell Xeon workstation with the same intermittent shutdown issue. It eventually started having intermittent boot failures too; I ended up concluding that one or more components (probably capacitors) on the motherboard were failing.
