Place the UberStudent 4.1 live disk in to the machine and boot in to it. Do you have wireless? Do you have wired?

Your card is a Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 and should not be any issue getting going.

I'm assuming you installed UberStudent to harddrive just a very short time ago so it's not a big deal to just re-install.

Please do so, then hit F12 on your keyboard and run the following line:
Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y firmware-b43-installer

Then, do a cold re-start. Do you have wireless now?

You must have inadvertently removed the network applet from your panel while customizing it. Following are two ways to add it back. Choose one or the other.

(1) On your panel do Right-click > Panel > Add New Items > Indicator Plugin > Add. The network applet is included in that plugin. You can control all connections from it. You can right-click over the applet, after adding it back, and choose Move to place it wherever you desire on your customized panel. This saves your panel customizations not done in error and adds what is missing.

(2) Go to Settings Menu > Panel Changer and restore a default panel layout. The network applet is part of both the two-panel and one-panel default layouts. Everything is now as if UberStudent was installed out-of-the-box.

If for some reason the above does not solve your issue--very highly unlikely--please let me know.
